January earnings report - 20% decrease from December

Rate: 1 Flag

20% DROP from December

I expected it - some of my Christmas-related articles aren't hot now, and I can see how much they contributed to revenue.

I am now the Feature Writer for Suite101's History and Philosophy Books section, which gives me an extra 10% bonus in revenue, and 29 more articles (100 total) gives me an additional 10%.  The faster I write, the sooner I get that bonus.

This is great information. I'm writing for Demand Studios, which pays ok but isn't very creative. (I'm going a bit brain dead. Lol.)
I write for them as well, sometimes. I'm working in figuring out whether the $20 upfront (I write for Livestrong) is worth it vs. making an average of $31 per year for my articles on Suite101. Cash in hand is nice, though.
