Bio
I have works of fiction in the form of a Christian novel in progress, along with a non-fiction sociological-based book re: abuse and its effects on individuals and our nation as a whole, pending. I've been an avid reader since the age of four y/o and I have a lifelong passion for writing. I am interested in history, biographies, self-help, journaling, all criminal justice-based works whether they're fictionally based or true life and I'm new to this site. I'm the mother of six children, whether by birth or "inheritance" via my 2 1/2 yr marriage - the youngest being 16 y/o fraternal twin daughter's that my husband and I share custody of with their mother. My bio son is 26 y/o, happily married to the most beautiful - inside and out, woman and they had my first grandbaby Kemper Michael Godfrey on 5/02/09. My bio baby is a 24 y/o FTM transgendered daughter/son whom I love more than life itself. Finally, I have a 20 y/o stepdaughter who gave us our second grandson on 9/04/10 named Mason Christopher Love-Tindall. I love the outdoors, especially fishing, camping, water related activities, reading, writing, animals, cooking & learning new things. I've yet to meet an animal nor a young person who didn't instantly think I was the greatest person, though, I have no issues with adults either. I consider myself to be an introverted-extrovert personality. I completely enjoy my own company, often too much so, yet, I can be the most gregarious person you'll ever meet when the occasion presents itself. Oh, and had I known that being "Nonny" to my grandsons was going to be such an amazing experience, I think I'd have had them first :~D

My Dog Has An Eating Disorder . . .

This is what Scootch looked like at approximately 4 - 5 mths old

My five year old "mutt" is named Scootch (my daughter named her and then gave her to me two weeks later) and I seriously think she has an eating disorder.

Scootch had a very tragic beginning in her life that consisted of inbreeding and seriously, only bread and water… Read full post »
