Bio
I'm a 40-something therapist living in one of the most beautiful places on earth. I'm also the chief critter-wrangler in a household that currently includes Abby the Border Collie, Collin the Aussie, Chance the Persian, Lizzie the Tortie, Mouse the Manx mix, and Jeffrey the husband. >^..^< I've been described as a bleeding heart liberal hippie do-gooder. Probably a pretty accurate description. :)

That really is very beautiful.
Thanks, y'all. That means a lot, Cherie, coming from an artist like you. :) (Not that YOURS doesn't mean a lot, Susan, just...oh hell, I'm sure you know what I mean. :)
That is just gorgeous. So uplifting.
Magnificent, merwoman, magnificent. Mrs. C. just looked at this and was stunned. She says this almost precisely and uncannily represents her "visualizations" when she was fighting this damn thing, now thankfully a while ago, and how much she knows it helped her.

So here's to Karen and to you, my friend.

Bwoof (gentle woof).
Lisa, thank you.

CCC, your comment made my night. I painted this at a time when I was in a mental/emotional crisis, and I needed a vision of better things to get me through. It wasn't supposed to turn out like this, but sometimes paintings have a mind of their own, and I think the painting's idea was better than mine. It's nice to know that this matched Mrs. C's visualizations when she was fighting her own battles; I hope it will help Karen, and anyone else who needs something and bright and sunny in their lives, feel just a little bit better.
