I have not taken the time to figure out what this little guy is, but he's a great accessory for my goldflame spirea. :)

This fellow is a Western Tiger Swallowtail hanging out on, what else!, my butterfly bush.

That first one is almost alien! I love the tiger swallowtail though, that is a crystal clear shot. Perfect!

Awesome pictures merwoman.

I love the Pacific Northwest. My wife's parents were born and raised on Orcas Island in WA. They still hve homes there, so we get to vacation on the island frequently. Usually drive ther so we can see Oregon and central WA. Beautiful country

Bobbie and Bob, thank you for stopping by! Bob, it must be quite a transition for your wife, from Washington to Nevada! It is incredibly beautiful up here, IMHO, views everywhere that look like picture postcards.

Bobbie, I'm looking forward to spring too. It's almost time here to start the spring gardening rituals and I'm dying to get my hands in the dirt. :)
