A flower petal

silky to the touch

foggy morning light

Soft gentle breathing

of the one so loved

mild winter afternoon

The shape of his mouth

catches the eye

Soft gentle breathing

of the one so loved..

a totally tactile experience, with all the senses
bowing to the sense of Touch.
inside Touch.
Haiku's emit such a peacefulness. You do this well.
Most beautiful body, mind, spirit experience.
Thanks Mary...
love, Liz
Gently and deftly handled, enjoyed this morning.
I like the simplicity it evokes, but if I might dare a slight suggestion.

The first two parts have a power in the use of three words that go together without being connected by ancillary words. It might be a complete poem, in craft as well as evocation, if the last line were built in the same fashion, perhaps replacing the unnecessary word, “to”, with a more direct emotive word such as, “loving”, “Daring”, or “Caressing”
So evocative! Most adults have had this experience in their lives... "the shape of his mouth...moth to flame". Wow!
Thank you for dropping in reading, commenting, I appreciate it
