A Little Ghost Story

I'm still plugging away at this painting thing. This first picture is how I wish I could paint.

This second picture is, sadly, how I paint. Notice the windows don't line up, the house is too big... and on and on.

This is a photograph of the house… Read full post »

I never understood how Wall Street worked and, frankly, I still don’t. For years I watched my stocks go up, down, and then back up. Then, about a year ago, I watched them take a tumble that put fear in my heart. Six months before, I had placed/… Read full post »

I Cannot Wait.......

To buy this woman's new CD when it comes out in November!!!

I cannot stop listening to her version of this song.... it is absolutely haunting.

I am beyond sick of the Republicans and their hate messages. If anything sends me further to the left it is this kind of crap. For the life of me, I will never understand it. It is racist, hateful and desperate!

Mackinac Island, Michigan

In Search of Peace and Strength

I headed down unknown roads in search of peace

I found a circus in the middle of a bean field
Is this a sign?

I meditated

I saw beauty
And the beast...
I felt God's power
I reached new heights
I traveled many walkways
And sat beside cool waters
