It looks like you had a great time! Handsome, mostest and studliest indeed!
Great pics - looks like fun!
MAWB- Will your family adopt me? PLEEEEZZZZZEEEE?
Fab pics of nature and relations. Glad you had such a great weekend.

Trust me, it wasn't my family! My nephew married well! I wudda been down at the riverfront sitting in a lawn chair had I stayed home! LOL
I predict living vicariously through friends with money willl be growing in popularity as time goes by. It looks like a great time though, and please, definitely hand the camera to someone once or twice so we can see how much fun you're having:)
What an attractive family! You guys need to model for Kodak. Wish we had some of you.
Meat, (LMAO) I think you are right. More and more of us will be living vicariously through friends with money.... sad, but true!

Duane, thanks. My nephew and his wife have done television commercials, they are so gorgeous together. Their wedding photos resemble a prince and princess getting married. Ah, but to be young and beautiful!
What a lovely lovely cottage:) I am sure you had an amazing time!
Reminded me of Wisconsin and times past.
Jay, that's exactly what I thought. My family went up to Danbury Wisconsin every year for about 15 yrs. I was totally taken back to my childhood, minus the speed boat and la ti da cottage.
If you had the money to share, my guess is that you too would share it would friends and family.
share it "with" friends and family, is what I meant to write.
Fantastic! Good for you!
Glad you had fun Lois. You sound energized. Rated.
Beautiful home, beautiful people, beautiful photos. And, YES, get some of yourself!!!
oh my god, this is fabulous. i need friends with money!!!! that's what i need to be praying for. forget that gratitude carp. :) i am jealousing like crazy, sweetheart, but i'm so happy that you had such a wonderful time. and such great great visuals of allll kinds. love love love
I know you had fun because I just had fun viewing the pictures.
Sharon
How great that you could enjoy it to the fullest without being torn up with envy. My hat's off to you.
Beautiful pictures! Beautiful family! This must be what they mean by "beautiful people." Very glad you had such a wonderful weekend. Take me next time!!!
Take it wherever you can get it I say. Friends with money are good friends indeed! Great pics (758 huh)!
Oh, Athena, if I have learned one thing on this earth, money cannot make you happy. That is something that comes from within. My father has Jack Sh*t and he is one of the happiest people I know. Money can be a prison.

Trig, I was a Realtor for years, so a good digital camera was a nifty little write-off. I have pictures of plants and the moon and food and I deleted about 730 of them! I tried to get all artsy, but hello... FAIL!
You should have seen the photos I took when I went camera crazy on Michigan Avenue in Chicago and the Art Institute. Thanks for sharing!
So that's how the Other Half lives? What a beautiful place with gorgeous people. Even the dog is picture-perfect! Lucky you for being invited. :)
Moochcations are the best! Lovely photos of joyful summer.
Lois
gotta love those compounds! The pics are intoxicating. Next time don't leave me home! Nice to finally see the true love of your life.
Mr. Mustard, it was nice to spend some quality time with him. He's so busy with research and school I rarely see him for more than a day at a time. Poor thing, inherited my red hair!! But, he got his father's brains!
Looks great! This is why I love to rent a house if possible on vacation (vs staying in a hotel) -- you can pretend you own it for a week and live like "the other half."
Cindy, will you leave that wonderful husband of yours with the house when we swap? If so, I'm in!!!!!!!!
What a place! Everyone looked like swimsuit models. Now, that's a place where a man could retire in style, I would never get off the boat!!
This looks wonderful! I'm flying out to spend time with my daughter and her boyfriend and his family in Cape Cod next week. It's nice to know hospital people. Glad you had such a great time.
Ahhhhh.....that is the way to vacation! Glad you had a great getaway!
scanner, winters would be hellish!

Mary, Have a wonderful time! My sister was out there last year and considered moving there she like it so much.

Cindy, poor Phoebe : ( I can do that though! I'll just let her out whenever I go! LOL

Awe, thanks Jane. It's funny, my son is 6' 1" but his cousins make him look shorter. I do have to brag, they may have the brawn but he has the brain. Chemistry major, math minor. I stopped helping him with his homework his senior year of high school, he lost me!

Gosh, all of you have been so kind with your remarks! Thank you! I have to admit, my family has been very lucky having such great kids.
So, so funny to see your pictures and know you were moments from my house...yes, there is the same view I see from the lake road, yes there is the lighthouse where my kids go on field trips...no, that is not what my house looks like! You said you went to the Book Nook - my favorite little bookstore, she will order anything and have it for you overnight. Next time you are visiting the in-laws let me know and we can meet for lunch or something!
That's pretty dang funny! I e-mailed Mr. Mustard from that Book Nook. In fact, the lady that owns it was at my nephew's wedding!!!
