Halloween may be my favorite holiday. I can't understand people who fear it, or say it is Satanic. It is a fun time for both greedy little sugar seeking children, and adults who like to dress up, and play make believe for a night. Our car is in the shop; I wrecked it by hitting a median, at dusk, one night, recently, so we may not be able to get a huge pumpkin to put in the front yard. Pumpkins make me feel good. I like their color. I like their remnider that the holiday season is upon us.
My Love, and I, walked to the grocery store, the other day. It took us 46 minutes to get to the store, and over an hour to get home, carrying our groceries on our backs, and on our shoulders. The grocery store that we went to had small pumpkins for sale. I paid sixty cents for a pumpkin that I carried in my hands on the walk home. My love, Just Joan, is a photograper. Long walks with her are fun. We talk. She takes pictures. Time flies when you are in love. Here are some of the pictures that Joan took on our long walks to and from the grocery store. We are blessed to have groceries, and I am happy to have found this little pumpkin that, now, sits in our front yard.
