Here in Oregon I'm pretty much snowed in, just about immobilized. But I was in a photo mode and decided to do some snow photos in the back yard. I didn't want to go too far because the snow is almost two feet deep, with higher drifts in places.
The following photos are of part of my back yard, which in warmer times is a vegetable garden. Even though it's just a vegetable garden and related items I wanted to capture a kind of Zen sand-and-stone garden feeling, which was how it appeared to me this afternoon. All of the photos were taken with an iPhone camera.
This photo was taken from an upstairs window. The window screen adds some interesting texture.

The bottom legs of a table on the back patio leading to the garden. The patio is covered, but about a foot of snow has blown in.

A snow drift.

Another snow drift.

Tree trunk. Behind it a limb has broken off from the weight of ice.

Hope it's warm inside.
Also, all of the photos could benefit from a trip to Photoshop, which I never use on my cell phone photos. I just use the tools available in the Mac Preview application.
