From my mother’s death came life
From my soul water sprung
An explosion of raw love being born
Words came like breath, a natural comforting rhythm
I couldn’t get the words to paper fast enough
I laughed at the sloppy handwriting just happy that this life flowed freely untamed and unmastered
Life changing, unexpected and welcoming
Like a warm fire on a bitter cold night
How this gift she gave and didn’t know it
Or did she?
The words came in rushes
Freeing my pain and passion
As if it had been, drowning gasping for air
The paper merging with my pen as if to
“Thank you, you are finally here...I’ve been waiting.”
The paper gracefully closes its eyes having peace
Long awaited
As I see the stories take shape my heart sings a song I’m just now hearing... it comes above its whisper
Emotions... Memories...Thoughts... Flow
Love, Hate, Happy, Sad
A merge of creation
Like two lights being joined together
A fiery ignition
The palm of my hand somehow connecting with my sprit
and everything good in me
What now I ask….
I can’t wait to see!
