I have left the Georgia mountains and moved to the Clearwater/St Peterburg area. I decided if starvation was imminent, I prefer warm to cold!!! I am not truly staving. I go sign up for Food Stamps here tomorrow. I already got them in Georgia when I left there last Friday.Ago
I have a beach report for today's weather here. Sunny, warm 88F with an ocean breeze of ten miles an hour from the west. I went to a beach today. 'Tis a smallish state park here called Weedon Island. Contains a large wetland/mudsand tital flat and many waterbirds. I think there are actually some ugly birds here. I never thought I would look at a bird and consider it ugly, but good lord some of these birds here are jus' plum ugly. I saw one today that looks like some inbred dinosaur. He was jus' ugly. There is even ugly ducks here. I would have never thought of seeing a ugly duck.I am going to volunteer at Weedon Island. I got plenty of time right now, and I like to volunteer. It is an excellent way to meet people who like doing to same things you do. I highly recommend it. I always try to do volunteer work in My favorite park. You learn much and also learn to hate plastic shopping bags. Wait till you try to remove them from tree branches. It is not a pretty sight.

Enjoy your new digs, lady. Watch out for those ugly gators though :-)
I cannot respond to all the comments but love to send a warm Florida hug to you all.
The cold front did come thru Michael, my new neighbor. I got on long sleeves for the first time today.
I have not been out looking for one yet. I like 'em at Midnight under the full moon and it has been full lately. Must be time to look!
Glad to see the Honorable mayor!
I can stay warm and fed here, with a clean place to stay as well.
