Okay... Many days have passed since the Playboy interview came out. What is the media reporting about this whole affair?
The fact that JM used the N-word and that he referred to Jessica Simpson as crack.
Nothing about his degrading remarks about African American women.
When Kanye West demeaned Taylor Swift on TV regarding her talent... the world came down upon him like an atomic bomb. Pink called him a piece of shit.
Imagine if Kanye West had said anything sexually degrading about Taylor Swift.
Okay America... Women of color are women too!!! We are femine and divine, delicate and sensitve. It would be nice if someone would come to defend our honor.... for a change.
Silence... okay as usual as a black woman... I will have to stand up and speak for us...
I think John Mayer is a peice of shit. And you can quote me on that.
Happy Fucking Valentines Day.

I once read a "letter to the editor" in a national magazine where a white male said that white men do not have relationships with us because we are unattractive and because the social stigma is too much for them to endure.
Racism is on the rise in America, and so will be the backlash. I will not stand for all of our hard work being trashed by a music stealilng white boy who cannot control his racist mouth; or for a racist extremist fringe who cannot control their racist utterances.
It is time for articles like yours, and I salute you. Rated.
As for the media, Big Salon has been on this since day one:

As for Mayer, well nobody really thought much about him so his comments just confirmed what people thought all along, he is an idiot of marginal talent. And lets be honest, a moron expressing his racism really isn't news in the modern world.
Whether or not this episode has done irreparable damage to his image remains to be seen. Other celebs (Michael Richards, Mel Gibson) have made racially insensitive comments, weathered the storm and moved on. I suspect it will be the same for Mayer.
I heard Mayer cried on stage while publicly apologizing for his behavior. Wouldn’t it be nice if he tried to atone for his misogynistic and racially insensitive behavior by doing something positive in the black community? If he sincerely wishes to alter his public image, that would be a step in the right direction.
Spin and Ocular look..
I'm just tired of the media, I'm just tired of the blatant disrespect of African American women in this country.
Bottom line.
xenonlit, mypsyce, voicegal... Thanks for your thoughts.
I'm so ready to just move from this dark energy.... Think I need to stop watching TMZ.
