Oh America
Oh America, I disen vow thee,
by all the names that I call thee.
Free by no choice, but by grace,
how tall you stand for what you belive.
In the times of darkness, people shy away,
but spirit stirs, even under the fray.
The amazing grace of yesterday
is the pre-closure of todays foreclosure.
In a market with nil to none,
gone are the good words that came up with
a few good lines.
Gone are all the gradiose visions, including
Richard Nixon.
Gone are all the bandits,
they've been replaced by tech gadgets.
All forecasts are the same,
spam in spamville is fine if you like spam.
Some people thrive on it,
as a matter of fact it was quite the dish
amongst are not so fine Americans who had less
on their dish than slime.
America, bye and bye,
you gave us a heart so divine.
Blood red on the vine,
that grew in Vietnam,
that gave us Salinger saving grace on World War II
swimming in the bloody sea.
The world is not into the right and wrong,
but the guilty and strong.
Who can wheigh the disadvantages,
of an anti-social government
or scorn from those who won't hear
a thing said about "what" the new way
of non-hearing.
Did you say there was a problem,
wheres the dis-connect.
What dis-connect?
Were fighting a "what"?
a war? Where?
Afghanistan,
get out.
