What is about the subject of bullying that inspires so many to take to the keyboards and start typing? It could well be most anything, kids are a cruel and unusual blend of many things, those things could be biological, could be learned behaviors, and could also be just trying to act cool. There are no set ways in which to distract a sense of action once the intended target is set, the actions are almost of a surreal nature, where the innocent victim dosen't get why a certain action is taking place. That is why it is so offending, otherwise why would the statement or insult bother someone? So in citing that Carlos didn't brush his teeth, or some other offending comment, a kid might come back with another offensive comment. But the first insult is answerd.
At work the same idiotic examples are set before people, if a person came in lets say 3 minutes late, another person might say something to the tune of, thats 3 minutes? Someone may give a look, as to say "whats going on", while the newbie gently whisks away the papers and begins what he or she hopes is another day. There are many indignent ways people choose to let other people know they are in their way, they don't agree with a position, are offended, aren't sorry, and could care less about what any body else thought.
Human Relations experts are able to identify how these issues break down, could be gender differences, could be class distinctions, could be many areas that are not clearly stated, as to cause confusion. That ugh sense that leaves many in hoisted position somewhere between right and wrong, with no clarity because each person has their own point of view. Bringing out the bias in a argument is sometimes a work of genius, such as Sam Sheppherd, where are the real arguments? far and few to dicipher. Follow Shakesphere in his discussion of "Othello", the argumentation is rigirous to say the least. In pursuit of the perfect argument one must be able to pin point what exactly is the problem. Many cannot, except that one person or another is too sensitive, so what?
Maybe we will be able to cohabitat in a world one day that will specialize and put certain dramatic types with other dramatic types, and there are many of those types out there. There are ballerinas that that will kick butt, and other opposites that you might not suspect that can do two things that are both opposite quite well. So when a child is in a situation where he or she is being picked on, might it be a great thing to have a teacher who could diffuse the situation? But in this erratic day and age, people are too political and would want to know how different types and personalitys can speak directly, instead of reaching for the nearest common adjective and start a forage of positions and propositions that will leave the two entwined in the argument with nothing left to do except examine each others brain parts, depart to the near futureific profile and examine the sci-fi era.
Imanginearium, a acquarium where people could swim with thier own muck and establish how that muck makes them less of a person. In the days of futuristic programing, and I belive it will become a non-rational response to people not getting what is getting the goose of others. Whether it be Jane Austen, explaining with out plagrism how much with disgust one character can displease another, and the vain attempt they can arrange to have the point brought about, it is extremely hard for people (especially in denial) to see the point if the picture at all.
A kid who does not like gym, but is told to strip down between freshman and sophomore years are going to have plenty to say about this unheart warming experience. Another kid, whos father has been a philander will have plenty of experince once his h.s. friends come about speaking their new language regarding those of the female sex. Contacts that are closets to the person often come out again and again in character. Selfishness, greed, uneasy subjects to bear, as our society is out of sorts with the broad term of 99% it is difficult to point the finger when there are so many targets, so know we have the opposite effect.
Instead of having one target we have too many, but in being bullied there are many fine lines that are quickly drawn into other characters of those that support, or are not sure what supporting a cause might or might not lead up to. There are really no quick measures to make sure the "right" message gets out, except to know what the truth to the argument is. For people that wish to choose to act in a mean spirted way, one must question why? What are the internal messages these individuals have been fed? There are many people that are unfortunatly not about nice, and nice people that are too nice, is often not a good quaity either.
Life is like a recipie, there should be a little bit of sugar and a pinch of salt, there should be some butter, and some celuloid to pound off some of those insults, and for those that don't want to stuff a sock in it, maybe they would prefer some peanut butter mixed up with a big shut up. Especially those that want to make a problem for somebody else. No, I am not a saint nor proclaim to be, but I do know that troublemakers especially where jobs are concerned can hurt. Job loss is no easy thing to repair, but I would be likely to suggest that we can be better and we can choose to rethink our phrases and address our differences first with checking out our own inner think pods, after all we certainly seem to know who to check out our ipods.
