Bio
I know every now and then it comes to my mind that time is going. Time seems to be prevalent in determining how we do what with the time we have. Do we spend time with family and friends? Do we get those last minute details done to the last detail for a birthday party, or for a wedding? I actually have both, tomorrow is my one daughters birthday, she will be nineteen. She has a beautiful baby boy who is now 4 months old. He is adorable, and is a pleasure to have around. I am happy to report that my other daughter will be going for 25 in May, and is planning to marry a wonderful man in Sept. of 12. There plans seem to coming along, and I am happy for them. My other son and his wife still live in with us, as things are quite expensive, this is a very common thread it seems in this day and age. Things cost a lot and people are utilizing the most out of coupons, and fixing stuff as opposed to running out and buying more. My oldest son is with a wonderful girl with children from her previous marraige and he has other things hes always into. I would hope that one day when I am not around anymore, my family will remain close. I love Sunday's as they are truly a time for family.

Obama and The Nobel Peace Prize

I wonder how much it helps to speculate about a new president who came into office, much like Bush. Except that this President was lauded as being able to unite people, (expected he is a Democrat) and also that his mother is white for all accounts a good women who raisedRead full post »

Amazing How Many People We Lose

As I peer this morning through my own nonscense in my head, and I have plenty to spare, I can't envision why young people would want to entertain drug use. There is much evidence to warn against drug use, but the elusive "why" quadrant of what it must feel like, flying,… Read full post »

There Are a Myrid of Reasons Why

People are up in arms over the debates taking place in Town Hall style meetings. Number 1. What causes most people to suspect that something stinks in Denmark is that most people are paying too much for private health care.

Even though some of the reasons may be perfect and validated… Read full post »

Sad Farewell To Michael Jackson

It was today July 7, 2009 that Michael Jackson was finally laid to rest. After a harrowing week of first hearing Chris Wragge say, that there was breaking news. But I don't think anyone was expecting what was coming next at least I certainly didn't. I was getting ready to prepareRead full post »

Other Women

I am not jealous I am sure of that, I am secure I tell myself as I look in the mirror to see a not yet fiftyish face, still in tact. But if you look at me closely when I have not taken a nap, or if I am stressed about… Read full post »

Bruscolini

Question what does it take to help people understand why men consider casual flirting a sign that they are being disrepectful to the women they so call there wife? It's not as simple is it? take for instance the charm and charisma the Prime Minister of Italy has, he has power,… Read full post »

As I have taken an interst in Ocoto Mom, I have learned quite a few things. I have learned that mothers and daughters do fued, it is not uncommon. It is as though each is trying to reclaim battle ground, lost during continental shifts in growth stages. Who expects there daughter… Read full post »

New Ongoings

I had been pretty sure I'd know everything about my children, the sense that you have about your children is awe inspiring. That how we come up with adages about "knowing" what your kid is about. Are they argumentive? where did they get that from? Couldn't be from you? or maybeRead full post »

What Are Your Diet Tips of The Day?

As I look at my morning t.v. as early as the rooster crows, I first get a taste of what ever country western my husband can find before he leaves for work. It happens to be one on some cable channel for Gene Autry and his side kick another singing cowboy… Read full post »

Wacky

As I continue to non-chalantly monitor and observe some of my teens daughters ongoings, I think distinctly back to my own teen years. They were tumtulous and tiring. I had very little support, unlike most teens today, my little corner of the world dealt with a tiring support of an older… Read full post »

Callie Anthony

As I saw one blog speaking on the loss of a child, I am angered that so much is done, but still there are moments that seem to flip as though by a much weirder sense of reality. This little girl was least to say, a beautiful little girl with eyes… Read full post »

Some Simple Observations

With all the rancor over political debate and there are going to be more as election time nears, the press is on erratic overdrive. Between the failing economy and what other news storys stir the pot, one thing you can be certain of, is that the news is on top. With… Read full post »
