Said the photographer, Michael Nolan:

This is how one would imagine mother nature would express her sentiments about our inability to reduce global warming. It seemed an obvious place for her to appear, on the front of a retreating ice shelf, crying.

This is incredible. Jaw dropping.
I didn't believe this was real at first. I followed the link and kept following it until I was convinced. Wow. That is so telling.

Much better than the Christ that appeared on the side of a Tim Hortons in Nova Scotia.
Is this undoctored? It's absolutely amazing.
Wow, nature sending a message loud and clear. Will we listen?
You sure thats not the Virgin Mary? We could have mad a fortune!
R~
Scanner - not to plonk, but the Virgin Mary is often the Goddess in Christian disguise - in Peru, we visited a church where the Virgin was dressed in a green triangular robe that made it look like a mountain, and the guide explained that the Native artisans under the Spanish had made her all-same Pachamama, their Mountain (or World) Goddess.

(And the depiction of the Last Supper showed Jesus & Co. eating guinea pig!)
Wow, what an incredible pic. Thanks.
If this is real, then I'm going to have to start believing in something divine again. Maybe the good Mother herself. This is stunning and heartbreaking.
