Words are inadequate.  I had no idea, when I first piece was posted here, what waited for me when I chanced to stick my toe in.  Now I write here more than my own place because the collective heart that beats here is so strong that my words almost always feel safe.

 Thank you all.  For my own safe keeping, and for being the most inspired corner of the internet.  Everone here is unbelievable in their talent and ambiance. 

All I have are pictures.  They've never been shared elsewhere.  Spanning many many months, they are respententative of what this year has meant to me.

Now that I'm well, I can see that my being sick signified more than I realized.  My jaw was locked tight around my tender throat, to the point that I could hardly open my mouth without pain.  Writing in this space is like discovering this morning that I can not only speak again, but I can sing; with gusto.
