Good morning, everyone have a nice day, am off to work
Morning light is the best. It must be cool to look out your window and see peacocks.
Well, if I were there, I'd bring you a house-warming present. It would be hard to compete with your prince, but I'd bring one anyway. Perhaps even some feed corn so you could make friends with the little guy.

So glad you have a new place Nabina. Many happy days, I hope for you.
the date does not auto set, it was last set in April. the first four pictures were taken this morning.

Bob they eat snakes!!!
Maybe Bob will bring a snake - THAT would be worth seeing! I like your view, though - good morning, sunshine!
Trudge, yes, this morning it is sunny, so it was breezy and nice (it rained at night yesterday).

JLD, (blushing)
well, the prince, his girl friend, whom I had the good fortune to 'see' on my first morning here, is even better (generally pea hens aren't that pretty)
Snakes it would be then. They don't bother me. I had no idea they did eat them though. Hopefully your pal will keep them away for you.
Good morning to you! I love seeing your space, a window into your life. Hope your day goes well.

Thank you for the wonderful good morning PMs to me this morning.

(Peacocks eat snakes? Wow!! Good to know!)
I love your pictures :)

the "Prince" looks so expectant - like a prince.

You are a beautiful woman,

peece
What a privilege to see your view, and Prince seems quite the apt name for him.

So lovely to see a snapshot in your life. This is a lovely thing to see before I head to sleep. Thank you!
I am glad you like your new place. Be well.
That early morning light is the absolute best… it is quiet, it’s soft – it is the start of new adventures. What a magnificent guard you have standing watch over your home.
Have a great day!
May Mayura's one hundred eyes watch over you.
May the sun warm you with love.
May peace follow you throughout your day.
Awww, you guys are so lovely! am glad you see the beauty of it all too. it feels good to be able to share some of the good things in my life with you. this is our national bird, never seen them outside of a zoo ever in my life bef coming here

Owl called me "sunshine" ! Owl called me "sunshine" (er, did you?) well, "sunshine in the waters make me happy", the silvery ripples make me cry :)

Bob, thanks, and it would be truly house warming to have you all here. someday do come visit, this is a place loaded with History. Nadir Shah of Persia had invaded this State seventeen times, ravaging the gold and wealth of the Somnath temple on the shores of the Arabian Sea, that is where I went to pay homage to Lord Shiva soon as I set foot here in the land of the Indus Valley Civilization. That is also where the Gir Reserve forest is, where you find Asian lions, cheetah, and the famous spotted Leopard.

ObsoleteMan, you made me say, "what!" you amazed me with that reference, (you a professor or something?)

GmG, "What a magnificent guard you have standing watch over your home" wow! now I wd look at him with new eyes. as for the adventures, rather hope not, would like a bit of stability in my life now, wish to feel anchored - feel weary within :)

WUS, yeah they do! they tear the snakes with their strong beaks, it is fearful to watch their eyes then... they are powerful birds, they can fly upto three stories high too. I enjoyed talking to you this morning...

David, you are kind - am not but I don't mind bec I have such lovely friends anyway :)
expectant like a Prince is new to me and a beautiful idea, regally expectant - wow! never thought of this like that before...

Buffy, hope you slept well, will try and get you the entire family sometime soon :)

Patrick, love to you. yes, Shahibaug is beautiful, feel fortunate to be here.
I got curious about "shahibaug house" so I tried to find out what that was. I found a tiny article on Wikipedia: . . . "the Moti Shahi Mahal, located in Shahibaug, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The Moti Shahi Mahal is surrounded by the Sardar Open Garden, where peacocks roam free and monkeys reside in the trees." I think I might want to move there and pretend to be a monkey. I think I could pass for one as long as I keep my mouth shut. You could take my picture any time you like. Thanks for this glimpse into your life.
Beautiful pics and how special to have your very own Prince.
What a delight to get this peek into your world! You shared that beautiful story about the peacock in your comment the other day, and how lovely it is to be able to see him in all his splendor—and even moreso to see you in all your splendor! You have a powerful presence and strength, Nabina. Thank you for the gift of these images, as well as your poetic words.

( m&m )
Lifeisgood, thanks :)

TMichael, when you visit India, promise to take your pictures for you, with the prince's family in it.

Melissa and Michael, yes, thisone is the one that danced the other day for the lady he fancies. never saw the family (there were two pea hens and three males, with this one with his plumes raised and dancing) again
We lived in Mathura in 1970-71. The peacocks were a pest. The sound they make ! Would barge right into the kitchen looking for food and no amount of shooing them would frighten them at all....But arnt they absolutely gorgeous. You must get one in his mating dance and videotape it for this space. WOW!!!
:) wd try, don't understand this camera well yet.
Wow, just wow! Thanks for the pictures, and you look great.
