Exquisite!!! Thank you so much for sharing this splendid and heartwarming moment in your life. I’m at work so will have to make this brief, but I just wanted to let you know this brightened my day.
Thanks also for your lovely comments, which I’ll respond to tonight.
you are accessing OS from work? heavens! hope it feels good to be back. am glad you liked him. there's video too only I dont know how to render it or correct the sunlight. In these too I put in too much blue to bring out the colors in his plume.
There are peacocks where I live, in Las Vegas, NV! In the morning sometimes I can hear their terrible, beautiful cries, and they dance, too! And the peahens, practical and plain, walk by, looking for food. Amazing! Thanks!
Cool pictures. My uncle used to live in a rural gated community where there were many peacocks. The first night I stayed at his house he told me not to get scared if I heard loud thumps on the roof. The thumping came from peacocks landing on the roof. They can't fly very well and they don't make graceful landings either.
thank you all for stopping by to 'admire' the prince. yes, Willie, but I didn't know they cd fly, so was surprised to see them perched high on a fifty foot tall deodar tree in the evening when I got back from work! :) and I start everytime they call :) this is the first time in my life I saw a peacock dance - in the video you see him turning towards me then doing a slow turn, was so bloody happy - the whole day went in a daze :) and I just had to share it with you all here.
oh, my god, how gorgeous is that???? i needed some beauty so badly. a huge relief from the demons that have been pursuing me lately. did you draw those? i love peacock colors so very much. love love lvoe
