Peocessing the tar sands are a courge on the planet and should be stopped. Anyone unaware of what is going on up there should do a little searching or maybe check out some YouTube videos to get a grasp of the scale of this environmental nightmare. It is beyond what you can possibly imagine.

Of course, it is unstoppable because it is finally profitable because we are running out of oil and Canada has no EPA as a failsafe or control. They pretty much do as they want.

The XL pipeline is another issue. It will create only a handful of temporary jobs and in the long run only benefit a handful of rich Americans. Of course, this too will go through as moneyed interests win every time.
