Persistence….

Beyond distance

Past mental illness

Around therapy

Above hatred

Within pain

Without time

Five months He has been home - nearly six.

I had to take him to the doctor today - for a chest cold!

It’s the first time in more than THREE years I have taken my son to a
doctor for a “normal” thing!

We talked about this on the way and both shed a tear.

His giant hand held mine as we drove down the highway.

After the appointment, He asked if he could eat at home before I dropped him off at school.

This is huge!

For five months, I have been forcing him to go to school -

I love today.
