The Princess and the Frog

Rate: 3 Flag

Just by looking at the title you know what movie this post is about: THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG. I don't know if you guys have seen it yet, but do. It's a wonderful movie. I miss Disney cartoon movies. All Disney does nowadays is Disney Channel, Disney Nature, and Disney Pixar. I was really excited when the movie came out and I saw it last night. It was spectacular! I'd give it four stars! I absolutely love the music. The Cajun style and New Orleans street music is delightful to the ear. The characters are hilarious and fun to watch. My two favorite characters in the whole movie are Mama Odie and Ray, a firefly. I don't want to spoil anything in the movie but something bad happens to Ray which nearly made me burst out into bawls and I've never done that in a movie before. He was so cute with his New Orleans Cajun accent and his wonderful sense of music taste. I loved it when at the end of the movie... well, I won't tell you. He has a crush on the Evening Star which he names Evangeline and he sings to her every night, thinking she's another firefly. I love his family and everything about him. I love Mama Odie because she's got a fire within her that won't ever die. She teaches people to see what they need, not what they want. Se teaches Tiana and Naveen that they need each other - in other words, they need love. Tiana wants a restaraunt and Naveen wants to have his parents back and to be royalty again, but what both of them need is love. It's what we all need.

Well, I won't waste any more time for y'all. It's a long post, but I just wanna say how I felt about the movie. I'd say it's the most spectacular movie ever. I highly recommend it and it's appropriate for all ages. Go see it, please! :)

You are a very good reviewer. I haven't seen this, but i may Netflix it. Thank you for the heads up!
Really nice review Noelle, with my daughters here the next few days we will rent it and watch. Thank you for your thoughts, I am sure we will enjoy it. Be well, older/exasperated and thank you again.
I love Disney cartoon movies too. There's such a magic about them which lacks in the animation movies. When my sisters and I were about your age, we used to have a cherished collection of Disney Golden Books and loved studying every drawing of the beloved story characters. I love your review and your writing. You've certainly sold me on the movie. Thank you.
