HELPFUL SUGGESTION: if you like what you've read (and even if you didn't), come back in a day or two. It'll be better. In fact, if you hated it, you must come back and read it again because it will definitely be better. *************************** "I find that I am so excited I can barely sit still or hold a thought in my head. Sex and Love Chiarascuro (poetry thursday)

Rate: 10 Flag

 Goya_Maja_naga2

naked maja

Francisco Goya

you can call me old fashioned I do

I bear my breasts my heart my soul

I shout out to the heavens and gods and winged angels

loving love and you

once a free spirit

hip loins, cool

now a foolish goober

a big assed ass

chiaroscuro

when it comes to lamouro

like that love

love the lovelove those wires

sizzling and our connectors

sympatically seasonally seasoning

no somatics here

we’re in IT

up to our hips

compelled to move possess

heat like a brick oven like the sun like lava pouring forth and up

warm ha! hot

wet to the core

warning:

I burn.will burn

that’s my price

I will toast those kernels

and pop your husk

move to the feeling grove to the reeling

for this more than sensation

take the connection straight up from

the source of my heart my heat my soul to yours

come

dance

the water’s like silk

this is not to say

when I feel the lure I

am chaste white and sugarsweet no no no, notatall

I will fuck like no tomorrow

there is a no tomorrow

more than a memory

wet stain on my bed

there is today now and tomorrow too

contradiction? o yes

loving love I love you

Nice! I can imagine this as "spoken word" art.
Whoa! I read this thee times (not until a moment ago did I know what chiaroscuro meant). This is just so good and hot the computer screen is foggy. You do this so well!!
R~~
owl, thanks. you think so? I don't know what it is. it just kind of jumps out and fills a page. thank you again.

scanner...thank you. I know you love poetry so that is high praise for me.
A brilliant emotion that crescendos beautifully. I see no contrast in how you love. ~R~
::laughing::

I'm a mess a mass of contrasts and questions and questionablity.

thank you chuck.
Okay this was GOOD. I don't know beans about poetry, but I know what I like....I LIKE this.

well mr. I don't know beans torman, I am just tickled that you liked it. I so much love writing poetry. and it makes me so happy when people I like (and respect) like it too. thank you.
:::big smile:::

BL4: I wish I could do my excellent Barry Fitzgerald imitation for you so I could say "I DO", as he did in The Quiet Man.

I do have a poets heart. I hope I am getting better at expressing it. So *I do* so thank you.
This was straight from the hips, honey! Well done.
Rated and now favorited.
you've made me smile broadly 65 AndStillAlive and for that I thank you.
Nice use of chiaroscuro! Naked Maya shows it all, your poem tells us more. I enjoyed reading it several times. Remember, real men (or women) love big asses.

I loved this! Hot and steamy - poetic eroticism at it's best.

smithery: I'm glad you liked it. I hope I made my husband blush. (big grin)
Chiaroscuro. Wonderful word. Should've made it a refrain in this poem. Chiaroscuro. Everybody, say it with me: chiaroscuro.
