Well have you ever thought about what you would do if you had to soend a few days in a Chinese hospital? Not that bad really is my reply. I had to spend 5 days inone here in Zhengzhou for a kidney stone. The doctors along with the nurses were fantastic. The same types of tests along with ultra sound exams. They were wonderful while giving excellent care. yes the building is old, the beds are old but comfortable. Very clean. The diagnoss was clear and simple a kidney stone. Ok was my reply thought so really. I did have injections of medicines to ease the discomfort and told this will help shrink them. Ok was my response with some worry. Not bad my co teacher informed me. She is Chinese while teaching English here. Trustthem was her main reply several times. Ok ok told her. My students who are studying medicine here at the university gave me the same info so hey feel better.

The nurse came in put the turna quet over my hand while checking for a good vein. Make a fist please ok clean the area and she cleaned her fingers as well. Took the needle ok Norm hmm ouch it's in. Off witht the rubber thing and can see the flow of fluis flowing into the vein while going into my system. Not bad my dear I thought. Ok Ok now just relax take  alittle nap you'll be here a few hours. The doc came in telling me what the results of theblood and urine tests. Do not wory allis fine. You'll live a few more years and then might die. Hm really I'll die? Yep ! We all must face this dilemna so be happy. How can I be happy if i will die? Well am happy that as of today am feeling better but that psky stone still in the kidney and they cannot pulverize it as it's to small and low in the kidney.

Ah such is life in China. Love it and yep the hospital is very cheap.

Having used Traditional Chinese Medicine in the US (at the SUNY Graduate School of TCM) I'd be quite comfortable and secure going to a TCM hospital.
