Gloria Borland should be having an excellent adventure. After all, she’s working on a film about the nation’s first black president’s formative years in the Aloha State and she’s been featured in a Washington Post article that looks at her and the pre… Read full post »
Using Kickstarter crowdsource fundraising, The Charlie Project's goal is a 30-minute documentary film about Charles Peters, the founding editor of The Washington Monthly. "How Really Works: The Life and Times of Charlie Peter" is a story about a man, a magazine, and the media.
According to Franklin Graham, Obama is more concerned about Muslims than Christians.
"All I know is under Obama, President Obama, the Muslims of the world, he seems to be more concerned about them than the Christians that are being murdered in the Muslim countries," he said.
Wel, I… Read full post »
Never let a good deed go unpunished. Romney, according to the Politico, canned a guy who assisted him in besting Newt Gingrich in the Florida debate.
Well, he did say that he liked to fire people. However, one would have thought he'd dispense with those whom provided him with b… Read full post »
That's right, Mr and Ms. America, your female child may have a budding sexuality (we all know what insatiable beasts boys are) and they may be picking up bad habits from that $13 billion American industry: pornography.
What was once thought the provnance of the male libido is now being picked… Read full post »
It's interesting how reporters like Todd, NBC's White House correspondent, allow politicians to get away with a bounty of lies and half truths, and then tak… Read full post »
Nothing better exemplifies what I have often called neo-racism than Charles Blow's take on Newt Gingrich's talking points in South Carolina:
They [Republicans] also underscore the fact that a clever politician like Gingrich, who understands this cleavage and knows how to exploit it in subtle a… Read full post »
What can be said of American political culture, of current American journalism, when reporters are so politically correct that they can’t even use the title of the camp that Gov. Rick Perry’s family owned in legitimate news reports?
The 99% movement needs to crystalize its ideas in a basic simple
song. I suggest an American classic: THIS LAND IS YOUR
words and music by Woody Guthrie
This land is your land, this land is my land
From California, to the New York Island
From the redwood forest, to the gulf stream water… Read full post »
The Rude Pundit's alternative to occupying Wall Street: Predator drone strikes on Wall Street financial executives who had their hands in undermining the economy. Of course, to avoid collateral damage to the other 99%, one would have to wait until the banksters and their ilk g… Read full post »
Wow, look at Mr. Herman "Blacks Are Brainwashed" Cain calling Rick "Niggerhead" Perry "insensitive" on a network that's so concerned about the welfare of its fellow Americans-- if they are in the correct tax bracket or have the right skin pigmentation, mind you.
You can tell it's election seas… Read full post »
The Washington Post published a story that Gov. Rick Perry owns a piece of land that bears the name "Niggerhead."
The story appears "solid," so claims Media's Tommy Christopher, but look at the tail of end of the piece:
In the photos, it was to the left of the gate. It… Read full post »
Watching Obama telling the Black Congressional Caucus to stop its bellyachin' has got to be one of the greatest chutzpah performances of all time.
Here's a guy who even cratered his own accomplishments by being the master of pre-emptive compromise, yet he's going to get an attitude that black electe… Read full post »
I received an email from Obama for America asking me to organize for the man of steel in DC (a town he won't actively support for statehood).
This is what I wrote:
"Dear Jeremy Bird:
No. I will not organize for Mr. Obama. As president he's become a liability… Read full post »
As bad as book burning is, presidential book monitoring, as practiced by the left and right, is just as odious. In the past few days Salon has featured either articles or postings regarding complaints by what Obama is and isn't reading on his vacation. He's battered because he isn't… Read full post »
This is a film I'm working on, which can be seen on YouTube:
Interesting exchange, according to Slate.com, between NPR's Michel Martin and Tina Fey:
Tina Fey seemed a little uncomfortable last night. The comedian was on the third stop of a promotional tour for her new memoir, Bossypants, and NPR's Michel Martin was asking her about race. … Read full post »
It's bad enough that Mubarak won't take his boot off his people's neck, but he also wears a very expensive one while doing so.
According to Juan Cole, he has a personal fortune of $70 billion dollars!
Referring to Wael Ghonim's reasons for wanting to unseat pharoah, Cole wrote:

If one read the September 6 edition of Newsweek, the "Obama's Old Deal" article, by Micheal Hirsh, may explain why Barack Obama, although the president of the United States, is not a leader. He was actually surprised that the banks after having their bacon saved went back to their old ways:… Read full post »
We generally know how mostly white the media is, right? Of course, they love to talk about race and make an issue of it when covering the political class and the masses.
Don't be surprised if you seen this as "Exhibit A" in how Same-Sexers brainwash children in accepting gay marriage.
