How Can Romney Win? -- Part 1
By the Numbers
Wanna Bet?
I believe this map is identical to Nate Silver's 538 right now,
with leaners going to the stronger candidate.

If you're for Romney, what now?
It's gone.
Like a warm, southerly zephyr that arrives unexpectedly, then
vanishes in an instant.
It came sometime after the 2nd Debate and remained until late
yesterday afternoon.
Subtle -- not strong enough to be measured, but no less real.
"What-if" scenarios were posited on left-liberal websites l… Read full post »
On Wisconsin -- Obama at bat w/game on the line.
Wisconsin Wisconsin Wisconsin
Debbie Wasserman-Schultz and Bill Clinton have done the advance
work.
Don't see how Obama can pass up a trip to WI, especially since he
was in the Twin-Cities yesterday.
Now it's bases loaded, 2 out, bottom of the 9th, the game's on
the line.
Only four possible outcomes:
THREE DAYS IN JUNE:
Normally, you don't think of June as a big political month, not even in an election year. Of course, there are several primaries and caucuses scheduled during the month. But we already know Mitt Romney will be the Republican nominee… Read full post »
Why Obama is Favored to Win in 2012 -- and How to Beat Him
Right now President Obama is having a pretty easy time of it,
waiting for the various Repubs to get "voted off the island."
That's how he put it to Jay Leno on the Tonight Show.

Hillary in 2012? Call me nuts, but...
It happened again today.
Appearing with top-billing over Ron Paul on Meet The Press,
Sec. of State Hillary Clinton said she's "out of politics."
And I believe her.
For today.
Hillary has been in the news a lot this past month.
You'd expect that in conjunction with news of Khaddafi's death

Turning 9-9-9 Progressive
We can turn 9-9-9 into a
progressive tax system very simply.
1) 9% sales tax:
exclude groceries, meds, rents, utilities.
That's where the poor spend most of their dollars.
(A reminder: 9-9-9 eliminates regressive payroll taxes, thus
removing a huge impediment to hiring.)
Taxing consumption instead of… Read full post »
Too Big to Fail? Too Big to Begin With!
Now's the time to use anti-trust action to break up the big banks and insurance companies.
“Too-Big-to-Fail" is
"Too-Big-to-Begin-With!”
I’ve been blogging this idea about for well over 2 years
(including letters to all my reps + Obama &
Biden, several times… Read full post »
