I should give people here more of a rundown on who I am online.

First of all, I am shameless...but hopefully not garrulous. I'll quip pretty much where and as I happen to roam for the simple reason that I'm 'all over' the web - literally.

 I run a newsboard at http://opitslinkfest.blogspot.com at which I posted  a 'Visitor's Orientation' yesterday. That's because I leave a confusing trail behind as to 'where to find me.' Every second day or so I run a repost of articles set up at a 'Demonstration Project' at htt://my.opera.com/oldephartte/links/ . 

The idea behind that site is simple. I started surfing out in the country with nobody to steer me around online : so I kept 'course notes' to help others find content they might like. On the way I collected a tremendous cache of sources for articles. That's right. Sources: blogged too.

I had kept a couple of lists of individual articles as files : one as a blog on WordPress and another as a bookmarks file with online backup of the original article. Both are gone : as is a hard drive. 

So I practice duplication of sources...to some extent. Diigo doesn't include all entries in the Del.icio.us/OPIT file : partly because their tool is in the Firefox browser- and I use others as well.

 And I learned quite a bit about online tools for those without technical training. That's me. Zip. Nada.
