OS Weekend Fiction Club
December 31
Hello fiction writers of OS! Here you'll find weekly prompts for Fiction Weekend, as well as links to stories written for each Fiction Weekend Open Call._____________________ EVERYONE is welcome to participate in the open calls. THE ONLY REQUIREMENT IS TO WRITE A FICTION PIECE! __________________________________ Here's how to take part in Fiction Weekend: 1. Every Monday, a prompt will be posted here. Come by and check it out. 2. Ideally, try to write a fiction story based on the prompt. But if the prompt doesn't inspire you, you can write a story on any topic you like - THE ONLY RULE IS THAT IT HAS TO BE A WORK OF FICTION. 3. On Thursday night or Friday morning-ish, the Stories List will be posted for that week. If you've written a story, announce it in the comments section of this post. Please include a short description and the title. 4. Show support for your fellow participants: If possible, please try to read and comment on at least three stories. ________________ For more information, or if you have any questions, please see the list of links below, or feel free to contact me!__________Happy reading and writing!

Fiction Weekend Prompt AND Stories for 12/21-12/23 2012

Rate: 2 Flag

This week's actually two prompts; go with whichever prompt most strikes your fancy.

Prompt 1: Write a story involving or taking place on Christmas.

Prompt 2: Write a story about the end of the world.

If neither of these prompts inspires you, you can also write a short story about any subject you like; the only requirement is that it be a FICTION story.  For more information about that, please feel free to click here.

Don't forget: this is the prompt AND stories list post, so once you've written your story, come back here and announce it in the comments section.

Happy reading and writing, and, for those who celebrate, Merry Christmas!

Sorry I didn't post this list yesterday - it's been a busy week!

Again, Merry Christmas to all who celebrate!
Merry Christmas to you, OS Weekend Fiction Club! I'm leaving town shortly, taking a break, and probably won't be able to write something this time. I will be back in January and I'm looking forward to many more prompts!
My OS Weekend Fiction submission is "Two Pregnant Women In Judea". Wishing all Readers & Writers a very Healthy & Happy Holiday Season!
Happy Holidays, everyone! This week's story is Genesis Shuriken. It's about the end of one world and the beginning of another.
