Clearly Eleanor is a woman with a mind of her own. Not to mention a budding artiste. One can easily imagine any number of things a sister might have done to deserve banishment, what can you tell us what crime 'Daddy' committed?

Honestly, I have no clue what Jimmy could have done to get banned. From the time she could talk Eleanor's most spoken phrase has been, "Where's Daddy?" She adores him. But, yes, Hazel is a 30-lb hurricane that deserves the banishment.

What truly confuses me is how I missed the cut. I'm a total shrew with these kids!

I love the signs and drawings because they give me some insight into Eleanor's head. At 6 she is not good at describing her emotions and she knows that she is supposed to be tolerant of her sister. In addition, she has a strong strain of Scandinavian passive-aggressive from her father's side. She is incapable of direct confrontation. I only find out how she really feels through these signs and drawings.
