Thank you for sharing! I have only recently started to dare take photos in museums (I seem to remember this being very taboo behaviour before every electronic gadget available came with built-in camera features).

I particularly like the way you have assembled the shots here in your post...
Cezanne is definitely one of the masters. Love his composition and brilliant colors and the zig zag brush strokes. Impressionists artists will always amass lovers of art. You are a lucky man to have gone there yesterday! Thanks!
I find that Cézanne's work photographs as well as, or better, than a sculpture.
The National Gallery is the best place to visit in D.C. The color of the garments in this painting are exquisite.
I love Cezanne...the subject for this work was an Italian named Michelangelo di Rosa and was one in a series of four paintings.
I'm particularly fond of the richness of the colours. Thank you Pablo for sharing your day with us.
No prob yo! Michelangelo di Rosa, eh? Tis a name I will surely Google. Thanks!
Ahh, yes the wonders of google!! :) I'd put the artist's name in as well or you may find over 1,000 Michelangelo di Rosa's !
Now I'm curious and I'm searching for the other three oils of the same subject, same red vest. Really is a beautiful painting . You're so lucky to have seen it!
Thanks for the close-ups, I didn't know you could take photos in museums. The way you assembled the details--is that all you could get because you were sneaking???? Anyway I like it!
