In my last post I spoke of Oneness and it is a subject of which I intend to address and readdress over and over.  It is that important to me.  I received the following message on Facebook from the CIRCLE OF LIGHT group created by, Shirlee Hall,  also the creator of the site http://www.behealedforever.com/index.html.

“What is occurring all over the world in the environment, all life forms including the horror that many people are facing in loss of families and income is not to be ignored by those of the Light. People need to grasp the reality of what is actually happening and no longer stay stuck in denial, enabling, excuses and greed. Selfishness is on its way out. Of course, greed is putting up an enormous struggle. For 2800 years people have been controlled primarily by the lower senses and not by Light, the spirit within.

This is a long holiday weekend for many of us. We cannot afford to forget suffering here and around the world. Either we get off our butts and take action and do everything in our power to lift the vibration of this planet from one of war and ugliness to peace and integrity or we are in for very sad times.

All the grand things we have been saying, singing and writing about for the last 20+ years need to be grounded into matter. We are the tree that will no longer bear fruit if we do not purify our thoughts, feelings, words and actions. Peace begins with us. Stop waiting for someone else to save you or do it for you. We must do it. We do it by being responsible.

In the midst of chaos, there is Light, a steady flow of Radiant Light descending to earth and touching the pure in heart. We who deeply care and feel from the heart must become warriors of the Light. Concrete action must be taken in some positive form. Find a way to make a difference. Do something to save the planet and her amazing life forms.”

On the Circle of Light page, Shirlee asks the question: What does Oneness mean to you?”  I feel there are many possible answers to this question and none more correct than another.  For myself the answer is, in a nutshell, a coming together of minds and spirits working to bring a higher standard, or vibration if you will, to the world of peace and unity.  ‘Working’ being the operative word which is the heart of the above message.

We have to all work together to pull this one off and it’s going to be a challenge without doubt.  All journeys begin with one step and the first step on this journey is to find and make that peace within ourselves.  When Mahatma Gandhi said “Be the change you want to see in the world”, he spoke from a deep understanding of how our every thought and action affected the world at large.  The Butterfly Effect you may have heard of which is a term related to the work of Edward Lorenz, a mathematician and meteorologist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.  “The phrase refers to the idea that a butterfly's wings might create tiny changes in the atmosphere that may ultimately alter the path of a tornado or delay, accelerate or even prevent the occurrence of a tornado in a certain location. The flapping wing represents a small change in the initial condition of the system, which causes a chain of events leading to large-scale alterations of events (compare: domino effect).[1]

Just as the small flap of a butterflies wings represent how a minor event can create large results, so can our thoughts and actions in ways we will probably never know or imagine in this lifetime.  Mathama Gandhi knew this.  No. He WAS this.
