Angel Trumpets in the Garden

Rate: 4 Flag

angel bottom

I took up my pen with the precise point

And permanent black ink

Incising meticulously

Every freckled feather

Her haunches blossomed under my hand

I, overcome under the pendulous brugmansia

secreted there

My ink staining, rounding, etching, shading

The angel in my midnight garden.

Brugmansia is a heady addition to the evening garden. It has other intoxicating attributes as well. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brugmansia
Yes it does and let the angel's trumpet roar as what genus comes out of the potatoe family..:)
Love that picture
Well that picture certainly woke me up from my worktime coma.
Linda, mmm, I can't wait for warmer weather, and to stand underneath those things breathing...thanks for the HUGsss.

Stim, indeed comas are to be avoided if at all possible.
Gather this is some sexy plant. Or some sexy lady who reminds you of one.
Lea, brugmansia has a heavenly odor in a warm night garden. I can't wait for warmer weather. Meanwhile, I type a little :-D
Quite an angel! R
You had me at'brugmansia'. Till I googled it and realized it's not another term for..err..assorted lady parts. So I reread the piece, keeping my eyes clear off the..err.. illustration, and bam! that's bloody brilliant work. Well done!
