- Bio
- I know published authors, and journalist, but am not deluded enough to consider myself a member of the club. Lifes amazing beauty, and horrific tradgedies have led me here. 50 years of education from the school of hard knocks, love, marriage, children, divorce, friendship, the arts, building, politics, policy, society, caring, communicating, learning as much as I can, using critical thinking as a guide, yet trying to understand emotion is part of the moral compass that guides us. I respect that opinions and belief are basic human entitlements. And I appreciate the opportunity to read your thoughts and forge new friendships. Patrick

Road to Armageddon: The Insane Drive for American Hegemony
The Washington Times is a newspaper that looks with favor upon the Bush/Cheney/Obama/neocon wars of aggression in the Middle East and favors making terrorists pay for 9/11. Therefore, I was surprised to learn on February 24 that the most popular st

Obama and the Nobel Prize When War becomes Peace
I've spent several exhaustive hours gathering information, exploring op/ed pieces trying to parlay some contiguous, or even disjointed logic of the Nobel Committee's decision to nominate our President, Barack Obama. Joan Walsh posted her excellent take here on Salon last week but, one of… Read full post »

"To the best of my knowledge I am not the father"
"To the best of my knowledge, I am not the father of these children," Dr. Arnold Klein told ABC News' Diane Sawyer in a "Good Morning America" exclusive. "I can't answer it in any other way. I don't want to feed any of this insanity that is going around."

AMERICA (What have we become?)celebrate the 4th

I've celebrated the pageantry of this holiday weekend from city to city across our country. The spectacular show of music and pyrotechnics standing united in harmony was a poetic gesture that was never lost on my sense of moral justice. A symbiotic vision of fabric that cloaks th
