I've celebrated the pageantry of this holiday weekend from city to city across our country. The spectacular show of music and pyrotechnics standing united in harmony was a poetic gesture that was never lost on my sense of moral justice. A symbiotic vision of fabric that cloaks that image has taken its place.
Picture our forefathers fleeing the tyranny of the oppressive Monarchy, only to find greed was an inherent trait of man to which borders do not apply, hence there can be no escape.
Observing this day with family, and friends is the way to honor the lives given in defense of principles of good and evil, right or wrong.
What should not be lost on us is that greed has washed away those words, and ideology we held so tightly to our breast.
Take a moment to revel in the ideology. Understand that media fuels those self absorbed ,righteous people whose pursuit of power, wealth, and capital were the very reason we now exist in our own state. The principles of who we are, and what our desire to be still lie before us on the peripatetic path to the future.
