What I Plan to Say to the Knee Surgeon (poetry)

Rate: 3 Flag

the doctor said you're too old

for surgery, what's the point?

I said do it

you don't know me

I'm going to live

a long and active and creative life

after this is all over, come on out

to the basketball court

I'll beat you at "21"

Beautiful, Patrick, I had a knee replaced way back in 1995. Since then I've skied, ride my bike and waded some pretty good trout streams. Love your attitude. Peace, and good luck with that upcoming surgery.
Good luck with the surgery. You'll be dancin' in no time.
The dr. told you you were too old? I'd knee him in the groin, ha ha. Then I'd find another doctor.
My friends father had a knee replacement.
The doctor put it in backwards by mistake.
The poor old guy spent the rest of his life walking in circles.
