But my energy level remains high. I tend to have those ups and downs, one day up, the next down, I don’t know why. Could be my Bipolar and some other physical factor. Who knows? I live with it. The I Ching says we will have these up and down days, Things will fall together, then they will fall apart. The Second law of Thermodynamics says that things inevitably will fall apart and become more disorganized and the universe will lose energy over time. But I believe that the factor of life and consciousness works against that trend and possibly we will overcome.
My time of homelessness could be interpreted as a time of increasing disorganization and loss of energy. But it did not turn out that way for me. I believe that if there is a Supreme Being, it consists of that: life-force and consciousness.
I was just listening to a song by Bon Jovi on the subject of poverty and unemployment and the effort to overcome these facts of life when they arise. This is a guy who knows what being on the poor side of town means.
That’s one reason why I love his music. Also, why I loved the songwriting and performance of Ronnie Van Zant of Lynyrd Sknyrd.
Life is sometimes a roller-coaster. Can we live with that, survive the ride?
