- Aw jeez, I have the worst time with this. So for now, it's best to keep it simple.
I've been a writer since I could, a musician just as long, songwriter for 20 years, and make a living in the music end of things. I do occasionally write for publications, usually about music (but once about being nuts), have been acting (as if) for several years now, and have been working on two plays for the last 9 months.
I like walks on the beach (since I can't swim), cooking, traveling, reading, but most of all...sleep. Ahhh, sleep.

A Lesson On How The People Gave Up The Power
This country was founded to do away with tyranny. Now many of Wisconsin have accepted a young and bought tyrant into the ranks of politicians. While corruption is unfortunately an almost given fact of politics, we the people are standing against it in a way we haven't in decades. I remain… Read full post »
Cognates Among Us... Another Bi-Polar In The Arts
It’s not all that hard if you give it a thought, Phil, really, it isn’t.
You need balance, don’t you?
Well, yes, you may never attain this much coveted thing, as most “sane” people lack it.
Let’s start there.
You are smarter and more gifted in many… Read full post »
One Night On The Santa Fe Railroad
Don't remember the year exactly, but it was probably some time around 1990. My parents moved from their second home of more than a decade in Wilmette, a north suburb of Chicago. My Dad had a wine cellar full of, well, wine and spirits with ages ranging back to my… Read full post »

The Little Blue Honda Tour in Pause
I think I'm a little irritable right now. If someone would just turn off that fucking television, I'm a goddamned moth-to-a-flame and really want to get some work done. I don't care that I'm sick and drugged to the nines and should be resting...I HAVE WORK TO DO!!
Well… Read full post »

Next Album Title...Goodbye Chicago? Chapter One
Age nine, a little blonde, blue-eyed kid from Wilmette gets off the "L" at Van Buren with his transistor radio, ear phone plugged in his right ear...the one that later lost 50% of its ability to hear as result of a q-tip accident. He's grooving to AM Radio and as he… Read full post »
