Hi, All

Rate: 19 Flag

I have no angst, I just want you guys to stop by and say hi. So I took my pictures from yesterday's post that only 3 of you read.

upside down puff
It's a rough life...

plant
This is the only one of Mom's plants that is still alive.

No irony, no strange people, no sex, nothing to make my story interesting yet. Fingers are crossed, though...

Lunchtime! Not only do I get to hide out and enjoy my bowl full of green and napa cabbage, onion, mushrooms, green pepper, garlic, brown rice and quinoa flavored with soy sauce, but I also get to come here! I forgot the carrots and spinach. :-(

Gary, my thoughts exactly. She is an exceptional cat.

Tai, snow!? Hope you don't get too much.

Joan H, it is. I counted 10 posts for the same game all in a row. Wonder which one we were supposed to watch.

Chuck, hello! I'm glad you could make it!

Susie, thank you!

Tr ig, benadryl!

Sheila, guten tag!
Welcome. Hope you stick around.
Oh, what a cute kitty!!
Hi Sarah! I have no plans to leave, but we know life likes to throw wrenches. I hope to make my July 4 blogiversary, anyway.

Erica K, thanks! All compliments on Puff appreciated.
Hey. Hi. Ho.

Is there some irony to your cat being named "Puff?" He looks like he has "chinese eyes" if you know what I mean.

Pinch off those yellowy leaves laying sideways, reduce the water (I'm guessing -- or make sure it has good drainage) and give that plant a bit more sun. That should do it. Get one of those Ph Testers, too, I found mine very helpful to keep my plants alive.

As an (hopefully) interesting aside, I made up what I think is a great and quite true statistic regarding cats:

Did you know that cats spend one third of their waking hours taking naps?

It's true!
Dunneitowl, I tore that plant apart yesterday. It actually looked worse than it does now. This is the first picture of the recovery phase. It generally looks pretty vibrant.

And I think your onto something with your theory on cats napping. Puff's name came out of thin air. I was pondering, it inserted itself into my brain, and she has lived up to it. Pretty cool.
my mom had a plant that looked JUST like that!
i killed most of them off after she died.
my sis got the christmas cacti
& a weird rubbery one that
even i could not kill...

hey aint that an oxymoron?
not dunniteowl, but what he says?
waking hours taking naps??
i say, cats are maybe clinically depressed,
cuz they sleep 18 hrs a day.
James, I think everyone's mother had one of these plants. They are not easy to kill, this I know. You must have great talent.

I'm not sure about oxymoron, but I think Dunneitowl hit the nail on the proverbial head on the cat naps.
ah-hah! The gratuitous-cat-photo-move! Excellent! (My mom gave HER plants to my sister because she KNEW I'd just accidentally kill them.)
Suzie, accidentally? Hm. And isn't every blog supposed to have gratuitous pictures? ;0)
Hi Phyllis !!

Your cat looks like it's got a dog's nose on its chest & the front paws are really ears.
Hi Kim! I never noticed that before! Huh. Thanks for coming over. :0)
