Losing Weight at 50- Day 5

Rate: 1 Flag

Day 5 of my new lifestyle went very well. I had an excellent time at the gym and did well with my eating today. I was going to say that I saw someone that I would like to be like, but what I really need to do is to be the best me that I can be. But this girl was doing one legged squats, her rear foot on a bench, while holding a 35 pound weight over her head. That was impressive.

My efforts are documented here. Thanks for stopping by!

My workout today.

Way to go! Be sure to alternate off days with on days of exercise so that you'll be able to continue it for a life time. I think you've got it right -- eating as just as important as exercise. I read a few days ago that everythuing that has fructuse in it makes you eat more. That means processed foods and especially soft drinks.

You are an inspriation to me. I'm doing better exercising this winter than I did last winter, but still have to push myself to do it regularly.
Hi Gary! I am exercising on alternate days right now, while I am getting back into the swing of things. When I get some of the original pounds off I will start to streamline my efforts and work more on sculpting my body while getting into shape. I plan to work this for the rest of my days and plan to do it intelligently. I am even thinking that this would be a good fit for me career-wise, as I keep reading, thinking, and studying on it in my spare time.
