Excuse my french here today on this, oh, so solemn occasion of Memorial Day, but there are things I need to get off my chest.
What do Fred Phelps, The Osmonds and The Hutaree Militia all have in common?
They are all white, Christian terrorists.
Yep, I said it.
America's sweethearts, Donny and Marie Osmond, as active members of The Mormon Church, are just as much terrorists as Fred Phelps and Hutaree.
And, quite frankly, Fred Phelps and Hutaree are the Christian version of Al Qaeda as far as I'm concerned.
WHY THE GOD DAMN FUCKING HELL ON EARTH ARE CHRISTIANS NEVER CONSIDERED TERRORISTS??
Maybe, just maybe, when more and more people become victims of Christian terrorist ideology, as I have been (by having family who urged my parents to seek "prayer therapy" instead of medical intervention), then thse asshats will be seen for what they are.

Let's take care of the homegrown terrorists before we worry about international terrorists
I just don't get it, and I never will. Then again those who support religious fundamentalism under the guise of "freedom of religion" are priveledged folks who have never been and never will be a victim of that fundamentalism

I do! The same ones that are used to prosecute Bin Laden, Al-Qaeda and other terrorists.
According to US law it is against the law to foment or incite terrorism both domestically and abroad. What these minister's did CERTAINLY meets the criteria of terrorism.
Definition 1. - "Terrorism" means the use or threat, for the purpose of advancing a political, religious or ideological cause, of action which:
* involves serious violence against any person or property,
* endangers the life of any person, or
* creates a serious risk to the health or safety of the public or a section of the public
According to "The Antiterrorism and Effective Death Penalty Act of 1996" it is against federal US law to " incite others to commit acts of terrorism overseas".
Inciting the physical abuse, rape and murder of gays and lesbians throughout Africa meets all of those criteria.

It's a BS race thing, (note my comment to Amy re Manson, Warren, Robertson...all white) cause when you look at the facts, the EXACT same thing can be said about Islam.

Right now I just wanna stop the millions of children who die each year from the flu, because their parents don't believe in doctors and hospitals, or the millions of suicides by LGBTs who attempt and succeed at committing suicide because their parents are brainwashed by their church that the LGBT child is going to hell
Answer: Because of their attitude which is "I've got something you don't have." Meaning Jesus in their heart.
I BELIEVE that all people at some point in their lives get a chance to be terrorists.
But I WISH that all people---at some point in their lives---would also get a chance to do some rational thinking.

Maybe it's just me, but, quite frankly, if you have to announce that you're a "true christian", then the odds are, you're probably not. The way I see it, a true Christian doesn't need to prove anything to anyone, because they know what they know and believe what they believe, completely independant of what anyone else says, thinks or does. The only reason to announce it, to me, is to have your own beliefs and values reinforced by others, in which case, I've got to ask just how strong those beliefs and values are if they require being reinforced by external forces such as a Church or a Church Community
Which explains why many of them don't believe in evolution, because most of them are still neanderthals

GWB is too easy a mark. He's just the marionette, whose strings were being pulled by the Robertsons, The Warrens, the Oral Roberts etc of the world.
And, here's the other kicker, if people are going to consider the old and new testaments both The Bible, doesn't that mean there is really only 2 major religions, Judaism and Islam, because The Old Testament is The Torah, which is The Hebrew Bible, which kind of invalidates the completely opposite message of The Christian Bible.

The LDS, as well as The Catholic Church, and most, if not all Evangelical denominations are rabidly anti-homosexual in their propoganda and their preaching. As far as I am concerned, inciting violence, including inciting one to commit suicide IS an act of terrorism, and there are literally countless cases of LGBT children of LDS members, as well as LGBT children of Catholic and Evangelical members who have committed suicide. Therefore, I believe that inciting anyone to commit suicide makes one just as guilty as pulling a trigger or tightening the noose themselves, and that violence IS a form of terrorism upon one's self
As far as I'm concerned, persons of the cloth, as well as parents of LGBT members who commit suicide should be held and tried as criminal accessories to murder.
Or, remove suicide from the list of criminal acts, in which case I think you'd open up a whole other can of moral worms
Trust me, you're better off not knowing what a "fucknut" is LOL it's just basically a crazy person who adheres to ideology against all evidence to the contrary
Follow up: Let's also not forget the Christian Scientist form of terrorism of "Take your sick/dying child to the doctor and you'll be excommunicated and disowned by family" threat.
I'd say that qualifies as terrorism, and that's one that my family has faced first hand
