Planetpals awards Leonardo DiCaprio for his extended environmental stewardship. Leonardo is doing more than his part in many ways, through organizations such as The Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation Fund  and the wesbite LeonardoDiCaprio.org .

The Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation Fund, set up in 1998,  supports environmental causes through grantmaking and active participation. It's website at LeonardoDiCaprio.org  "supports the efforts to secure a sustainable future for our planet and all of it's inhabitants". Leonardo is also involved with many important organizations such as the CCF, Global Green USA and National Resources Foundation.

The LeonardoDiCaprio website is informative and comprehensive. It not only includes environmental news, but includes the sections: "What you can do", "What's important" and "Get Informed". While you are there you can donate to a cause or sign up up for the "no plastic bags pledge". A small but important way to do your part.

We thank Leonardo DiCaprio for setting a great example!   At Planetpals we hope to encourage others to follow suit and work together for a better world.
