May 14 th has been dubbed Give Your Stuff Away Day.   

I sure love this "Free For All" idea.  It reminds me of the time I was visiting the Black Forest, Germany, and all the towns around had a biannual CURB DAY.  I had never heard of the concept back then, but wondered why we didn't have such a thing here to save the landfills.

That evening at the local pub, the locals were coming in and exhibiting their shopping bags while sharing stories about the treasures they found. 

So, Join in!

We all have "Stuff" we can part with and many times we are reluctant to just toss it.  But, this way, is a simple solution to help find our stuff a second home. Oh, and did I say it is a no stress way to dispose?  Just curb it! No dragging it down to the swap shop or local recycle center.

So, join in on the fun. Don't miss a chance to green your neighborhood this Saturday.
