Make Your Own Upside Down Garden Planters With A Myriad Of Containers.
Vertical gardening is the new rage and well worth trying. It's a space saver, too. Perfect for a deck or patio. Even if you have lots of space, many plants thrive growing this way. It seems the sky is the limit and that you can grow many things in upside down gardens. Some people have grown tomatoes, eggplant, peas, beans, cucumbers, herbs and even melons with success. There are some great sources online that include home grown techniques, along with successes and failures. So, google them for tips and tricks.
What kind of containers can you use, you ask?
You can buy Topsy Turvy garden planters or you can make upside down planters of your own. It can be a fun upcycle / recycle craft, too! There are a multitude of items you can use which include plant pots, buckets, bags and plastic bottles. The only thing in your way is creativity! So, choose a container type, cover it, paint it or leave it as is. Add the string and you are good to go.
