How to recycle a vintage phone and make it a new functional work of art

In an age when we talk on speaker, use cell phones and can see who's calling, it sure can be a welcome blast from the past to see an old phone (still quite functional) displayed like a work of art. Better yet, made into a work of art!
Upcycling an old rotary , push button phone or princess will make you smile with these creative solutions. Not to mention, when the electricity goes out--you will still have a working phone....they don't have plugs.
So, ring up some fun, think upcycle and recycle the phone parts or the entire phone. Color the dial. Decorate with jewels. Paint it with plastic spray paint. Add fur, fabric. toys, game pieces. There can be no end to creativity.
You can buy pricey redo's online , but we suggest you make your own just buy phones on ebay or etsy.
