What can you do to help the planet?
April 1st marks the official beginning of Earth Month, (though many places on Earth have been celebrating since March).
By now, you are probably doing something to help the planet, such as recycling. But there are more things you can do and many of them are small simple steps. Collectively they all make one big effort.
For instance, if more of us would request that our own communities have swaps and actively cut down on trash, we could save the planet from waste and pollution. (Did you know that one swap day can divert approximately 5 tons of waste in your town from the landfill? That means greener spaces! Imagine how much waste would be diverted if your town had a permanent swap!). Here is a swap how to for your school, community or town.
