or does it mean

that something happens

when I cease being?

I'm with jane yukon cornelius smithie on this one. I don't think what happens when we leave the planet is based on our accumulated points while we're here, and I'm not even very sure religion per se has anything to do with this, except as a means of organizing thoughts about your question. There's probably some sort of indifferent correlation between the two, but I am of the conviction that the answer to both is still "Yes."

I'm also with j y c s in thinking this poem has a lovely tone, indeed. r
