I know if somebody pays me, I'm motivated to work harder. :-) And if I have free health care (that my boss doesn't have to foot the bill for) I'll get paid more...
When there is one less thing to worry about, it makes me feel less stressed. When I am less stressed, I am more focused. When I am more focused, I am able to work more effectively. Also, when I am not sick, I work more effectively.

So, in effect, I think yes.
yep! You betcha! If you don't feel good or have something physically wrong with you, you do not do your best! But if you have less to worry about ($$$) and your knees work, then you betcha, there's motivation!
I'm motivated to work harder when I'm healthy.
Child, what are you up to now? I used to be like you...all conservative to rebel against the parents...xox
Work smarter, not harder!!

I am the kind of person that works hard and becomes the job, no matter if there is free health care or not.
I'm interested in finding out why you think it'd be free, who is telling you this, and why do you believe them? Or, are you kidding?

Like JKBrady said. Canada. Just one example.
This boy would be lucky to be sucked into our dark den of correction! xox
I would work harder because there was more to do. I shouldn't have to stop and worry if it were "free" health care I was receiving.
