We have just finished our first comedic short film, Queerer Than Thou ("QTT"), which had its world premier in San Francisco, CA on November 8, 2008. We have had several private screenings since then, and we are proud to report that QTT has been well received by diverse audiences, both queer and straight. This week, we have gotten confirmed for our next two screenings:
* Fusion 2009: the 7th Los Angeles LGBT People of Color Film Festival. The festival will be held March 6-7, 2009 at the historic Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood.
* The London Gay and Lesbian Film Festival, which will be held 25 March - 8 April 2009.
Because we've believed in our project from its onset, and want to give many more audiences the chance to see QTT, we have decided to run the full extent of our film submission eligibility in 2009.
Please consider using the Paypal link below to make a donation to this grassroots effort! We have managed to keep our production costs to a minimum, but are finding that the submission process is costly. Each festival costs an average of $30 to enter, so we are asking that you please make a contribution, no matter how small or large, so that this film gets the full opportunity to reach as many people as possible.
We only have until October 2009 to submit QTT to as many film festivals as we can - and get accepted. Submissions are on-going every month throughout the year, so please donate whenever possible. We truly appreciate every donation and will keep you updated on the success of the film.
