For many years, I was one of the biggest fans Moby had. Everything is Wrong was one of my favorite albums. I listened to it on a never-ending loop, and ,then, I stopped.
One day I stopped listening to all of his albums. I didn't suddenly dislike him. I just stopped listening. That is a shame becasue apparently all of the fervor I had dissapated. It faded and floated away.
I discovered this when I putEverything Is Wrong on again last week. I expected to be caught up in the beauty that I remembered, but I was stunned to discover that I found the music trite and naive. I found it hollow like the poetry I wrote in ninth grade.
You can go home again. You'll just hate the wallpaper.
