- Shall we try to define what is going on here at the RALPH PAGE? Are you, dear reader, game for such a task? No, wait! Come back!! This won’t be too painful, I promise….
Could someone think of this as an act of hubris on the part of a closet megalomaniac? For those of you who know me, you must agree this is nigh impossible. Could this be a desperate cry for attention, a yearning for some sort of connection with my fellow humans? Could this be a way to bring meaning and joy to my simple life? Could I just be really bored and want to busy my idle hands (so the Devil doesn’t decide to add to his chain of workshops)?
Then, what hath wrought this website?
This website is for…. Okay, I’ll admit it—it’s an act of hubris on the part of a closet megalomaniac! Ten points for those who guessed it right.
Actually, very simply, this website is a way to exhibit some of my other writings, a place to share some thoughts and a place to do other stuff and things. I like to do both stuff and things.
So, what are you waiting for? Go click on some links. Be off with ya!
And thanks.
Sincerely,
Ralph Carusillo

(This is a post I made to a baseball forum on June 1, 2008, where the subject was the 1978 Atlanta Braves. One player I remember from that team was Pat Rockett, a shortstop who, well, had a short major-league career. I've had some fascination with players of this… Read full post »
This Is The End....?
(This is a little thing I wrote for a baseball forum back in 2006 concerning Randy Johnson and the bad year he had for the N.Y. Yankees. Yes, it's an older piece but it ages well since it touches on a theme that will continue to be relevant in the sports-world. … Read full post »
